It's a number from a calling card. Even though the call came from Alberta, the 416 area code showed up. I thought it was some prank call from TO, but it turned out to be a calling card.

the sad part is that we all have pretty much figured out it is a calling card access number, the problem truly is that we can not block this number, which makes it maddening. My calls come at 11 pm or 2 am and sometimes not stop for a bit. What are the chances I change my number only for them to find me again. I now get a 141 number too...technology...grrrrrrrr

09/09/2010. I recieved already up to 10 calls from this phone # 416-589-0379 and most of the times when i answer there is nobody talking on the other end, This is so strange that i have no idea who is that, May be aliens engulfed my number from saskatchewan already, I have to change my # if this keeps going on.

I've recieved two calls today from this number. Didn't answer and now I'm glad I didn't.

As all of you I didn't answer kos I didn't know the numbers, So It appeared it was my father calling me from a charlesvoix's hotel , 2 hours driving east from québec city.

I just got a call here on vancouver Island and it's 1130pmit was the same # that called you but was from Quebec!

This is a payphone in Ottawa. My friend just called me from there!
