I received this same number 1-416-589-0379 at 8:04pm. The area code 416 is from the Toronto Ontario area which is only 5 hrs from me but from what I have heard before is that there are companies who have telemarketers who are IN INDIA using a local phone number that you would recognize (for me, an area code of 416 I recognize as the Toronto area) this way you will be more influenced to answer the phone thinking it is someone you may know.The weirdest part of this is that I have caller ID and it states the time, I was out at the time of the call and there was only one call which was from this number at 8:04pm... and yet there was a message on my answering machine at 8:04pm and again, this was the only number who had called my home since 5pm. The message on my machine was from a friend that is not even near the Toronto Ontario area, she is from Montreal Quebec! Very very strange!

They left a VM saying that they do not own a phone or a computer but want to know what it is I do.Sounded like an older man.

This number calls me atleast once a week but I'm usually at work or asleep (they call at insane times of the day),it's a 416 area code which is the same as mine. They never leave any messages - who are these people, I'm insanely curious.

This might be a PC mobile 18663552155 number. When you use a PC long distance card a 416 number registers as the incoming number to the recipient.

I live in Montreal and i just call my freind from a public phone and he was surprise that i call him with number start 416 and it should be 415 , and when i met him he told me that i just call him from the same number which every one talk about it here.its a Bell public phone ...try it to make sure thanks
