I received a few cAlls from this number as well, thanks for the postings from everyone,

I have received calls from this number to my cell phone two days in a row. I have not answered. It says Toronto, but when I researched, it comes up as being registered to a Catherine V. Lee in Mesa, AZ. I have found out from talking to our local telephone company that Scammers can take any number and pass it off as theirs to make their calls. We've even on occasion received calls from our own numbers!! It seems there's nothing we can do about that except block the numbers at least on our cell phones.

I received a call last night from an acquaintance, he lives 5 hours out of town and the call would be long-distance. Only reason I checked the number on this site is the area code didn't match. He always uses calling cards and this is likely where this number originated.For my case, this is definitely not a scam. I understand the other comments and their concerns, you have no way to track these people down. This a general number for all purchasers for the same type of calling card. Unfortunately, you should still be careful unless they can prove who they really are or don't even bother calling back.

Just received a call right now from this number. The guy said his name was Patrick Morin and that he new a friend of mine (and actually the name was correct). I didn't have time to talk with him, but it is very strange...

I dont who would call me they call and hang up I dont have time for this B/S I am in Las Vegas, NV. This the number that came up on the caller ID about 8:30 A.M 416-589-037. I google it to fine out where does it comes from and it took me to this a CALLING CARD.

I answered the phone and a girl said I was in trouble with tax Canada and to send money and then it would be ok. I started laughing so hard and then she said I will not be happy to go on front of the judge and go in jail ... and then I was in tears laughing and then she hung up the phone. I know your scams and the countries you come from scammers. Sure call again - I like to laugh hard like that.

I had exactly the same experience. I live in Victoria, BC !! I had a voice message from a friend in Pentincton, BC, with this 416 # !!

Calls repeatedly everyday. I live in the states but close to Ontario... Is it still a calling card in '18? I dont want to answer international calls because of billing rates and the bs offers from it but seeing this Im wondering if its my buddy

It's a number from a calling card. I got a call from a gal of mine and she said she was using a calling card from Banff Alberta.
