The Do Not Call list does not apply to the following:•Canadian registered charities; •Political parties, riding associations and candidates; and•Newspapers of general circulation for the purpose of soliciting subscriptions. Though annoying, these calls are technically still allowed. I think the CRTC needs to start laying down laws about how often these people are allowed to call, though. If they only called a couple of times a year, I could handle it, but every f#@king day? Should be arrestable.

they are scammers, they are not legit, if they were legit they would not block the number they call from, i have never had the toronto star news paper delivered to me so they have no reason to call, i am on the do not call list, lol as if that even means anything, so much for the crtc doing their jobs, its a new scam every month, you have to wonder if they are getting any kick back by allowing it to go on and on, i do know that my cell phone out of country call center are in on it, cause they only know the provider i use, and to call me up claiming to be them, trying to get money and ID, i asked my provider about the number where the cell was from, and they said it was not one of their numbers, i am chainging providers,

il blocked both numbers both they still call me with the thurd number block but still coming up on the display as NCC INC.@, IF you have a thurd number i can use to block them, please give it to me and more if they are using other numbers, thanks

If it's newspaper telemarketing, they're one of the categories to which the Do Not Call list doesn't apply (along with political parties, charities, etc). When they call, you can ask them to remove you from their internal list however, and I think they have to comply.

This is the Newspaper Call Centre. They are relentless in phoning my home. Morning, Afternoon and up to the evening. They call several times per day. I wonder, out loud, how many times they need to phone here before the computer throws my number into a holding file and not bug me for a month or two. It's ridiculous the amount of times this company calls per day. If need news, I go look at the internet for it.

I am getting calls from 416-630-5150 and the Caller name is NCC Inc. I didn't answer it because I am on the do not call list and don't answer my phone if I don't know them.
