Yes this is scotiabank. I called them to fix something on my statement. They called back and of course I did not answer because it did not display "Scotiabank" or any name in the caller id. But when the called a second time within 10 mins, I googled the number then answered.

FOR REAL. My ScotiaAmex was compromised and more than 20K in Air Canada Flights was charged to my card. DO NOT IGNORE THIS CALL.

Someone called me that my credit card account was compromised. It was a recorded message. At first I did not believe it was true but then I called the number on the back of my card and tried to verify it. There was an unauthorized transaction of $2000 from my account. The transaction was done in 888 birchmount road, 4th bank of novascotia. I live in Winnipeg and that was enough proof that it was unauthorized. They advised me and issued me a new credit card. By the way, scotia did not recognize the number so it is best if you call the number at the back of your card. Peace!

Its actually is Scotia Visa Fraud dept. They called me. I ignored it. The next day I received an email. My card was used for $18000.00 If these guys call I'd recommend answering.

Gentlman introduced himself as Scotia Bank Customer Support and asked for my date of birth and phone number. When asked to provide more information about who he is and where is he calling from, he provided 1-800-375-???? as call back #.

This is a legit scotiabank call. I filled out a form through online banking because I accidentally paid a bill twice and they were calling to confirm it.

As per so many others on here, it was a ScotiaBank security representative calling.

My mom picked up the phone and asked for me (name correctly). Fortunately, I was sitting right next to my mom and before she handed me the phone to answer the caller, the caller said "It was okay, I do not speak to her" and hung up. Is this a scam call? I don't even bank with Scotiabank or have any credit cards with them!!!
