I've received 3 calls from the same woman at this number over the last 3 days. I politely told her each of the first 2 times that I was not going to participate in the survey about radio stations without getting paid (my time isn't free!!). When my husband answered this morning (Saturday at 10am) he let her have it (very firm but politely told her he didn't want any more calls from her). He got hung up on. Better not get another call tomorrow!

They called about 8:45 PM, left no message on mny answering machine and on my caller ID said Unknown Name, which sends up a red flag-SCAM- It has to be. But what gets me about these unwanted low life, is why do they keep calling? I'm on the do not call lst and I have made a number of complaints in most cases help with these type of unwanted calls. If legit, they would have a name. Be careful, too many scams out there, and never give personal information over the phone unless you really know who it is. if they say your bank, then call your bank yourself and find out if they really called or not.

Today I got the third call in 2 weeks from 423-648-4908. I was not here to answer. They hang up before the answering machine picks up. I do not answer unknown numbers and they never leave a messge.

They are constantly harrasing me.

Actually, if the company is a large one, they have a computer that does the dialing and when you answer, it is immediately transferred to the first available researcher. Smaller companies may actually hand out pages from a phone book to the workers to go down the page and cold call. My wife worked for a survey place once, so I know a tiny bit about it.

This number called at 9:05pm Weds night and I answered. A woman was speaking to someone else and never acknowledged I answered. Her conversation continued for a few more seconds to the other person on her end and then she hung up on me. Ran this 423 area code to find out area and came across this blog. I will keep record of this call since its passed the 9pm cut off time and we are also registered on the National Do Not Call List for just over a month now.
