That's what happened to me. This number has been calling me for weeks, and when I answer, they just hang up.
I got this call 6:30am Sunday, I do not have any open jobs with ms tech support and haven't for years, and never at the number they called into. They left a 3 minute empty voicemail. They must be spoofing the number and scamming, makes me wonder who got hacked to leak all these numbers.
Got a call at 11:45 pm, i didnt bother to answer it. But I ha created a service request with Microsoft for office 365 and the guy who called also sent me an email about my request and the call, and it is legit.
This is a GENERIC Microsoft phone number so MANY calls originating from anywhere within Microsoft can show this number meaning anyone can use a phone anywhere in one of 30+ buildings and this number maybe shown. And as stated earlier you can have any number show on a caller ID so number shown really means nothing anyway
This call is from Microsoft telling me they received the KB/mouse that I returned for warranty replacement.
