oh I totally forgot I signed up for MS user research. I get a call from them maybe twice a year. Numbers can be spoofed but it's never happened to me. Scammers are a lot more clever these days. If you're scammed, or have some perv call you, do you really think the number you see on your caller ID is the real number? seriuosly? they're calling you from home or their phone or their work so they can be traced back and get in trouble? good lord how do they even use a phone, that's what I want to know. granted, the occasional idiot uses their own phone. But not usually. They're scam artists, not scam dumbasses.
