Answered this call ((440) 617-5620) and pressed one to get to a live person where I asked where they got my number and was hung up on! Scam artists!
Also, recording said same thing about lowering interest rates on my credit cards. The thing is, I don't have any credit cards!!!!!
SCAM- Received an automated call saying "my credit card was eligible for a lower interest rate." When I dialed it back, it asked me to press any number to be added to the DO NOT CALL list. I did not respond and the line went dead. Definate CC scam.
Typical robo call scam about lowering credit card interest rates. Yeah sure.Had 90 seconds of fun with them while I spoke with a heavy made up accent (Indian of course). I repeatedly said "Where's Sadu?" and "Potato Salad".They gave up and hung up after 1.5 minutes....
Wow, 13 pages in a week! Scammers called me yesterday, didn't waste my time to pick up the call.
Received call yesterday from 440-617-5620, it starts out with automated message about lowering the interest rates on all credit cards to 6.9% fixed and to press one if interested. So, I pressed one and got an operator who said their interest rate would cover all credit cards from any bank if the balances were greater than $3000. She wanted my credit card numbers of the cards that I was interested in changing but since I was driving, I asked her if there was a number I could call her back at (plus I wanted to find out who I was actually talking to) I know not to give out any information. She said that she would call me back today and that I couldn't call her back. I'm on unemployment so at first I thought/hoped maybe it could possibly be legitimate, but NO, it's a total scam.
Received two calls 4/30 at 9:30 am & 9:19 am, no message left. Fortunately I can block any further calls from this number. - My family rule is if you do not recognize the name or number showing on caller ID, DO NOT ANSWER. Seldom is a message left.- I really appreciate the people who take time to post information on this site, so the rest of us can avoid possible negative issues.
I just received a call from the same number. No message, but they seem to call a couple times a week. It's good to know now that I will never call these people back. Too bad you can't just hit a button on the phone that broadcast a loud fog horn sound when calls like that come in. To let the scammers know that this isn't the number to be calling.
