Unwanted phone call from 440-617-5620. I did not answer it.

440-617-5620 called me as well. When I asked the clown who he was with, he insulted me and hung up. I knew it was a scam, I was just trying to get some information out of him. I'm reporting that number to authorities, both local and federal.

Received two cell phone calls from (440) 617-5620. There was no answer in both cases so I hung up. If it was automated I may have not waited long enough before hanging up.

I just got home and checked my ID caller. I received a call from "Barlett, Inc" @ 440-617-5628 @ 2:16pm today. Left no message. After reading the other posts, I am not going to call the number back. I too, am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY...These calls are dialed through a computer. Have you ever noticed that when you do answer the phone you have to wait before you hear a human voice? That is why. the computer dials numbers and put you on hold until a human can get to you.I do not know if the government can do anything. Some of these callers are overseas and get US phone numbers from our phone companies. Not fair, but what can we do?

If your area code is not the same --440 Ohio-- and you don't have free or unlimited long distance service then you will incur AT LEAST an LD charge for calling back the card service scammers. There is no purpose in calling them back anyway, as they are simply drug-addicted criminals, and will not remove your number from their calling list!

I also did not mention I have reported the calls to the FTC and the FCC several times in the past and it has changed nothing and wasted a lot of my time to do it. Spoofed numbers from out of the country are pretty hard to track down and prosecute, and our government agencies are already too busy with other things to bother with our annoyance at receiving unwanted phone calls...

don't answer just another scam can't it be stopped

Received a call at 1:38PM on July 09, 2013 advising me they were Account Services and that my account was OK and if I wanted my interest rate dropped to 4% I should dial 1. Dialing 1 creates a disconnect.
