Got a call @9:53 a.m. CDT from this number. Didn't answer.

Called my cell phone on july 9 even though I am on the 'DO NOT CALL' list. I answered but no-one said anything. I called the number back and there was a recording that said, "press any key to be added to our do not call list", so I did that.

I just got this call. While everything they said sounded very legit as far as lowering my interest rate on a card, as soon as I asked one question I was referred to a rather combative "supervisor". He kept asking for more information and while it still sounded ehhhhhh, sorta ok, as soon as they said they could lower the interest rate on both my Chase & Citi cards I started asking even more questions. They new my account balances, they new the last four digits, they new my name. To "verify my identity" They asked for my last eight digits, my zip code, my expiration date... all of which I refused by saying "I don't feel comfortable furnishing this information over the phone" at which point he got more aggravated with me and eventually hung up on me. I immediately called Chase to verify I'd not given too much info to them by even furnishing the FIRST FOUR digits of one card and luckily I am safe as they need the entire number, expiry & CV code on the back to use without card present. Chase said they would NEVER call a card holder with lower interest rate offers, only contact card holders by mail with special offers.WOW!!! as I was writing this I got yet another call from 1.603.763.8500 -- Call started with "There is currently no problem with your account" "Your eligibility to reduce your interest rate is a limited time offer". What is going on??

Me too. I just got a call for this number. I decided to search online to find out whose number it is. my number is on the do not call registry, so did they break the law calling me? How do we report/stop them?

I got a call from this number too. Be careful - they use a lot of different numbers but it is always the same scam. If you block one number, they will call from another number. The important thing is to never give your information over the phone.

Just got a call as well- tried to call back and the line is busy. On cell phone says from Ohio, USA

I missed the call and when I tried to phone back twice the call doesn't go through. The call came into my cell and displayed that the call was originating in OH. Hope they rot!
