I received calls from this number identifying itself as "Your Health Plan" on my caller ID. Once they left a message mentioning my health insurance (not Care First)!
They call ENDLESSLY. I finally picked the phone up:Me: HelloThem: May I speak with (my correct name given)?Me: Can you please just remove me from you list?Them: There is no list sir, this is your health plan calling to offer supplemental benefits...Me: Can you please remove from being called with offers of supplemental benefits or anything regarding my health plan?Them: OkMe: I shall look forward to never hearing from you againThem: click...Me: (thinking) Wonder how many hours or minutes before we repeat this conversation again
So, It took me 3 weeks to finally catch someone on the line. It's not actually CareFirst. It's an outside services company. They seem to offer a service that Carefirst covers. Just another call I need at dinner time, right? Tomorrow I call CareFirst and find out if they sold my info.
