I don't have United Healthcare, and never have, so they are obviously just calling anyone and everyone.
Over the years I have not answered over 300 calls from United Health Care on my home phone and cell.phone. I do not answer unknown calls.
I got a call this morning; offered me the physical exam etc. Then asked for my address; I got suspicious, finished the call; then called UHC and reported it. I am not a long-term patient, nor do I need an exam at home.
I just received the same call. Since I'm not of age to need this kind of attention and my health is good, I don't feel comfortable with this call. I would think it better to write United Healthcare members a letter to see if they want this service.
I have been getting calls from United Healthcare at least three times a week, I told them I am not a member and do not need their in house service calls, I have my own private insurance, and the person who put me down as a reference is no where to be found as they have ended up homeless somewhere in this world. I finally called back twice to ask them to stop calling, so lets see if they do.
If you have a cell phone it's pretty easy to block calls, as I just did with this number.
I started to get calls from 443-492-2802 recently and the ID shows it was from United Health Care. They leave a message to call them at 1-866-2504 TTY 711. That number is not listed with United Health. I did block the 443 number.Today, I received a call from 480-405-9970. ID says from United Health. Again message with the 1-866 number. ???
UPDATE: These 443-492-2802 and 480-405-9970 are automatic phone calls from UHC, the base office in AZ. Called them and was told that these calls are for promotional sales. I told them I wanted no more calls. They could stop the promotional calls, but not the robo calls. I have a feeling these will continue, as stated by other people here.
