We have received messages from this caller before. Maybe our block wore out (?). I think it's a scam. The message gives another number to call and they say they have healthcare info for us.

I wouldn't be so suspicious about this caller. It's a routine check on subscribers to United Health Care and they call annually to see how you are doing and if you need a house call. I told the guy that we are doing just fine and he said the visit was optional. I'm sort of impressed, actually. Some people are just grumpy until they need attention and then they are grumpy about that.

I have this one blocked and my program shows that they have called 20 times in the past 15 months.

Then why won't they leave a message?

This call came thru as "Housecalls" on my caller ID. It is a service provided by AARP United Healthcare Medicare Plans. Every year for the past 3 years I get the representative to come to my house. They are medically well informed and know their stuff. I have always had a more thorough physical / mental exam that last about 45 minutes to an hour that i never get from my doctor at his office and are given important information to put in my file. Also their info that they get from you and tests they do with you are sent to your own personal doctor. On top of that, you will be sent a $15.00 gift card. I don't know what these people are complaining about on here are all about. They must be getting different calls from what I am getting. I am constantly getting spam artists on the phone bothering me and they should all be locked up. However, this call from "HOUSECALLS" is very important and should not be ignored. It is to benefit you alone.

Jim, your so right! I accepted an appointment with them last year. A nurse practitioner came over to my place. She checked my blood pressure, ears, feet to see if I had feeling. She asked me medical/health questions. She was very nice and very professional. Asked me if I was taking any meds and if I had any concerns. The free examination didn't take long and her caring attitude made for a pleasant experience!

she did everything your doctor does at your regular exam? But she came to your house? What else did she check? Did she put on the white gloves and check for dust, open your refrigerator up to see what was in it? This is simply a way for the insurance company to figure out how not to pay for your health needs.

United Health care call center. Not sure why all the negative ratings? They call for specific reasons related to your healthcare membership and coverage.

probably UHC but I just got a call a few hours ago from them and it's a dead line and it rather needs to stop
