We have drive financial and we are not late and they still call a few times every month saying we are late... grrrr
I do not have Drive Financial but one of my children do and because i was listed a a referrence they have been bugging me about THEIR late payment. I am disabled and do not give out my cell number (which is all i have phone-wise)to collection agencies. I no longer have to deal with collection agencies coming after me for my stuff for years now and i am annoyed that i am getting them for someone else..Is there anything i can do to keep them from calling me? Other agencies have told me i have to put it in writing and i say BULL i dont have a loan with you and i did not solicite calls from you and after i ask the 1st time not to call,i consider it harrassing when u call again! There is a law against harrasing calls the last time i checked!!
you go and do your thing. These kinds of actions are getting totally out of control. Costing the individual a great amount of wasted time and money.
I keep getting these calls on my cell... First off the account with Drive is not even mine and second off the car was stollen and is a total loss... The issue I have is Both the person that had the loan and myself work in Collections and they are giving me info on his account that is a direct third party voilation...
Notify them in writing to cease communication, according to the Fair Debt Collection Act:(c) CEASING COMMUNICATION. If a consumer notifies a debt collector in writing that the consumer refuses to pay a debt or that the consumer wishes the debt collector to cease further communication with the consumer, the debt collector shall not communicate further with the consumer with respect to such debt, except -- (1) to advise the consumer that the debt collector's further efforts are being terminated; (2) to notify the consumer that the debt collector or creditor may invoke specified remedies which are ordinarily invoked by such debt collector or creditor; or (3) where applicable, to notify the consumer that the debt collector or creditor intends to invoke a specified remedy. If such notice from the consumer is made by mail, notification shall be complete upon receipt.
They have called 7 times since Monday and my drive financial car account has been paid for 18 months now and it seems Akbar or Muhammed Shabooki or what ever their names are can not understand me. So, I took it upon myself to have my Attorney to send them a certified letter and guess what......I got a reply from their legal department saying the letter I sent was received and will be handle promptly. 2 days and no calls!!! On another note, if you ever have the opportunity to finance a car, DO NOT EVER USE DRIVE FINANCIAL!!!! 20 something percent interest rate is a joke!!! Now that my credit is perfect, I dont need them anymore...
I have been getting calls from this number for the last several days(no messages). I dont pick up numbers I dont know. They collect late car payments? I dont even own a car!!!
I am getting calls from this number daily and numerous calls, annoying!! I do not pick up unidentified numbers, they do not leave voicemails, and I would like to know how to get it stopped. (ASAP)
This number called my cell phone during Sunday School. They don't leave a message or say who they are. They tried to call again during a congregational meeting after church. I put my phone on vibrate during these times thank goodness. How rude to call on a Sunday morning during worship time. They don't have any scruples since they don't have the common courtesy to leave a message if it is so important to try and disrupt Sunday School classes!
My auto loan with United Auto Credit Corporation was bought out by Santander in 2010 and ever since, i have received one call after another, at all hours of the day and night. I did answer the first time that they called and tried to explain to the very rude and very belligerent person on the other end, that i had lost my job and that i would make the payment when my unemployment benefits began, but, after being called a very ugly name, i hung up and have not answered their calls since. I have scrolled through the pages here and read the comments, and it amazes me that some of these date back to 2007 and Santander is still being allowed to harass and annoy. I guess that the company must pride itself on being rude and assanine to it's customers. These people that make these phone calls must be paid based on how much money they collect. Thankfully my vehicle will be paid for in December of this year. Hopefully, for Santander, these calls will then stop.
