Hangup call

In one of AARP's emails, they stated a scam is happening where the caller will ask a yes or no question. Your voice is recorded and if you answer "yes" they now have it on file. Then they will call back later saying that you agreed to something (I'm not sure what but it probably has to do with payment of some sort) and they have proof of it. Be very careful and don't give out any credit card information and don't let them record your voice. If you notice, they don't ask you to press 1 for yes and 2 for no - that's because they want to record your voice. Scary!

Why do they care if one voted or not. The trump administration can ask Russian hackers to get answers to this question

Just called and a man talking fast said he had just one survey question which I could answer yes or no. Our TV stations have warned us about a scam. If you say Yes to anything they record it and use it to scam you. So I immediately hung up and have blocked this number.

Received a call comes up Informed Electro like always I don't answer calls that I don't know. It was a rob and did say just answer yes or no. Did you vote in the last election? This is way I don't answer. And it's none of their business who voted or not. Blocked!!

Went to my voicemail. Had a "one question" survey and kept asking if I was there. Probably a robo call that repeats itself if you answer the phone.

I answered and a man said a one question survey...''did you vote in the last election?'' I said yes and then I remembered reading about the YES SCAM! The hackers record your verbal YES and use it to rack up phone charges or do something with your PC. I felt to dumb for saying yes. I called the phonw co. and did a chat with Norton and they will both watch for unwanted activity. I hope I'm safe.

I got that call also today,, and they asked if I voted , I of course said yes,, now if they want to make calls on my phone, it won't happen , I do not have long distance calling,,they said could we call you in a couple weeks , I did not answer that question and then they said how do you spell your first name ? I hung up

Seeking support to survey us voters and inform the Congress of the will of the people on various subjects/issues. They survey and tabulate what people think. www.votethewill.org is their web site. Based on what I see, seems legitimate if one wants the Congress to know how you feel about issues and you want to see survey results.
