Informed Electorate - they call with one-question political surveys (they haven't asked for money YET), but now they're calling anytime between 8 am and 10 p.m. And their questions are so general that I don't want to waste my time answering them.
Caller ID says "INFORMED ELEC". They leave no message.I called them back. They have called me before via (412) 226-0147. The outgoing messages are identical. I wrote up a lengthy report for the 412 number which was posted on 09/02/2016.Long story short is that they are a PAC (read "want your money"). They will "inform" people by asking a few very basic questions. If you answer any questions, they will keep calling. Sounds like a SCAM to me. For additional details, see my 412 area code post.

I received a call from this number. I didn't answer & let it go to the answering machine. However, I did see on the news that you should not give yes or no answers to any questions, because they record your yes response and apply it to whatever they are selling or trying to do.
got a call from this number this morning and was asked if I voted in the election. Stupid me said yes. Then he wanted to know if they could call once a month with a nonpartisan question .i told him no, not really and hung up. Now I'm freaking out. I remembered there are scammers that get you to answer a yes or no question and use that response as if you okayed something. Is this a political number or a scammer?
I did the same thing and felt like an idiot after I remembered that scam. Hope out really is nothing....

Called ,asked one question then hung up. Called again and asked for donation over phone, I said no, then asked if he could send me a envelope to send back to them with my 20.00 donation, made me promise to send the donation back because it costs the pac money to send out mail. It's now been over 2 weeks , no envelope......lol. This is a scam and was having a bit of fun with the caller.
