I got one like that where they ask if I voted, seemed like a bland question, I said yes. Later in Facebook it said latest scam is to get you to say "yes". Then they use your voice saying "yes" to okay whatever. OMG

Got initial call and realized immediately it was a scam, but wanted to see where they'd go with it - since they had already called when I wasn't at home, meaning they heard my recording that "all calls to this number are recorded whether answered by machine or person". Therefore when they called I again, I played along letting them think I didn't know what they were up to. A 3rd call came in, and sure enough, they now wanted "A PROMISE OF MONEY for funding their political action on all of our behalf!" What a JOKE!!! Like it wasn't obvious before this request. What BS! I'll be contacting the AG's office with this scam! The idiot on the money call had both a Robo-recording, and the ability to "cut in" by I assume headset, to try to strengthen the Robo-message. With me I asked for an address of their location, which he lied and said Utah! (So stupid he doesn't care that it is soooo easy to trace!)I probably shouldn't have baited him, but if he thinks that by recording permission to call the first time, that he can pursue this further, will just end in HIS frustration!! Stupid fool. Kept giving alternating names for the "movement" (below), What an Idiot!!! Hope people aren't really taken in, this buffoon is so obvious, I can hardly wait for his capture for this scam!

They've changed tactics to sound legit, claiming in a recorded message that they're a polling firm and simply asking if they can call once a month with brief political polls. I said yes, because I like to answer political polls. Luckily, I can block the number.

Just got a call from this number. I didn't answer and immediately put it in my blocked calls list. I figure if it is an emergency they will most certainly leave a message. I can only block 30 numbers at a time so I always have to erase one to add a new one and hope the one I erased won't call again. It's worked pretty well so far.

Caller ID says INFORMED ELECTO. Didn't leave a message. Quickly blocked the number based on what I see here. Thanks.

Block this caller

I answer all unknown calls in a foreign language, Japanese, Polish, Czech etc. Google translate is a wonderful thing. Gets you off the list quickly! Bahahaha.

These people keep calling! Today they called and my husband picked up ...... "Hi this is a one response polling question either yes or no. " That's when he hung up. We've already been alerted to the answer "yes" scam. .... and no thank you!!! I called the number back and got an answering machine. The number showed up as Informed Electro on my caller ID.
