This freakin moron called me on 11/3/09.. What a flutebag! I dont have a real phome number either. Its actually AOL's virtual number, so how he got my # is questionable. Its sad that these people waste our peaceful time at home sleeping, so they can harass us with just we dont want or need. Yep.God bless you all and may you have a splendiferous Christmas holiday! Got several calls on my cell phone from this number in a row; didn't answer because I was at work and no messages were left.
Our company has been receiving these calls for over TWO YEARS! AND they are increasing lately. All in Spanish and when I press 1 to get a human they are speaking Spanish and immediately hang-up. PLUS, these automated Spanish calls come in from many other numbers:630-982-7878941-763-1052602-421-1292 and at least 4 other numbers. When I call the number back (from my caller ID) I get a recording that the number is not in service. I have filed a complaint today (3/10/10) with the FCC and yesterday with our phone carrier, Level 3 Communications. They are investigating. This is so strange that soooooooooooooooooooo many people get these calls and the FCC isn't doing anything about it. I got very little help when I called them today. Extremely frustrating. Go online to the FCC site and file a complaint. Only takes a minute and maybe if they get all the complaints that are noted here they will investigate!

just got the call..didnt pick it up....no meesage was left...have an NYC cell #...very strange
I just received the call about 10 minutes ago. It was the static womans voice in Spanish. I just hung up figuring it was a telemarketer. I see some people have entered a post that they have pressed a number and there are varying stories of the result. Has annoyone called and actually spoken to someone who is not crazy? I have a Northern Virgina number with AT&T.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
