Get consistent calls from this telemarking service. They hang up when you ask to be taken off their list. Full of big talk but don't listen and I can't id the company! Yahoo says the number belongs to a woman in Arizona!
I received the same thing on my cell phone. The number was 480-982-3626. It lists the number on my phone as being from Phoenix, AZ. It was something that said I am eligible to greatly reduce my interest rate on my credit card. Push 1 to speak with a specialist. I pressed 1. The first thing I asked was who was this company. The guy responded "Card Services" then went on to say that they service credit cards with all the mega banks like Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, etc. I asked which one of my cards is he going to lower the interest rate on. Then he said he didn't have that information. I told him I didn't have a credit card, and then he hung up on me. I called back. The automated system said I am so smart to call from a cell phone and to push 1 for a chance to win $50,000. I didn't then it kept saying to press 1 for daily trivia to win points and so forth. After it told me to push 1 several more times it finally said to continue to hold for a specialist. After that it hung up on me. I called a few more times with the same luck. Then I called from my landline and it still said I was so smart to be calling from a cell phone. I just want to be removed from their system. I generally say that to the representative after their spiel and always get the representatives name. This was one of those times they eluded me.
These people have called me several times with an offer to lower my interest rate. When I ask them which card they are calling about they get rude, and usually just hang up.
This company calls me on a daily basis. I am on the do not call list, so I should not be solicited by this company.
I'm in Dallas and they call me all the time. i think it may be a Texas thing. Who knows.
We've been receiving calls from several numbers and if you ask to be taken off their list, they hang up. Looks like they are using a different number every time. They are calling my home and cell numbers, which are both"do not call." Very rude and a real nuisance. Come on, people - this can't possibly be an effective method of selling whatever you're selling.
I've been getting 4-5 calls like this PER WEEK and our number is on local and national NO-CALL LISTS. Something isn't working and I think it is not just the "press 3 to discontinue calls" option.I AM NOW just working on my idea to just stay on the line and KEEP THEM TALKING AND THE CALL ACTIVE TO RUN UP THEIR PHONE BILL. If everyone did that (not likely), they might get tired of paying for the phone time they're screwing us up with. I do not currently have a caller ID that will reveal the number to report them. Might be worth doing that for one month in order to TRY to report them officially.
