Anne with Account Services... pressed 1, ignored the question if I had pressed 1 to lower my rates. I said I was interested in their services but was not comfortable doing this over the phone and asked if they had a website I could go through instead. The rep hung up on me, proving again that this is nothing more than a phishing scam. No legit business would operate in such a manner.I've been getting these calls for probably more than 4 years now, anywhere from once or twice a week to several calls a day. I used to report them to the FCC, but that has been nothing but a waste of time. I think from now on, for every call I receive I will be writing to my state representatives demanding that the DNC programs funding is cut off. This country is going bankrupt and if they aren't gonna do their jobs that money can go towards paying off our national debt.
I am tired of receiving these calls DO NOT CALL is not working and it is eating up my minutes
everything on here is true. you cant talk to them they hang up on you. call them fat, gay and or cussing them very quickly as they hang up on you is the only sense of relief i have found.
Called my CELL telephone asking me to respond to reduce the interest rate on my credit card. Put into perspective, junk telephone calls are a small pain compared to the country's unemployment issues, but they are a painful annoyance. My suggestion to the ARRP magazine was to mobilize the country's retired people to become a heavy load on these kind of calls. It everyone who has the time would just play along with them for a few minutes before hanging up, the solicitors would find that their business model had problems. Personally, when I get call asking me to respond, I just put the telephone down on the desk for a few minutes, so the caller's equipment is tied up until the connection times out. When one immediately hangs up, it frees up the equipment to try to find the next sucker. If enough people slow down their solicitation process, it will no longer be profitable. Some of these calls ask you to press "2" to be taken off the list. I suspect that by pressing "2" I'm just confirming to them that they've hit a live person, and they should call back again.
Been getting calls weekly for over a year, different number every time, from an illegitimate company claiming this is my final notice regarding credit card debt I don't have.I've filed a police report for harassment and urge everyone who is getting similar calls to do likewise.
They called me today and when I spoke to a person I asked him to stop calling this number he told me it was freedom of speech and that my credit card company authorized these calls. I told him I was calling my credit card company. Then he said that they were going to raise my rates if I did not listen to him. I told him I was not interested and then he called me a "dump [***]!" He told me he had freedom of speech and I told him that it was not a freedom to call people names... that was slander! Then I hung up on him! Please help me from these harrasing phone calls!
I asked to be taken off their call list and said I was going to call the BBB. The guy asked me if I was going to call the Police and National Guard. Then called me an Effen [***]. All of this as I wake up from a deep sleep. I am not happy at all.
Telemarketing company asking me to Press 1 if I wanted to win big prizes and when I didn't, they hung up on me. Called back, pressed 1 and it hung up on me again. F**K this, I'm just adding the number to my CallBlocker+ App ..... BEST FREAKING APP !!
