Wish these folks would stop calling me!!

I read somewhere about download the AT&T - Sorry number has been disconnected" or something like that that you can play when you get these calls. Anyone know what I am talking about? Does it work?

Constant annoyance. What happened to the no call list?

even worse , calling us 3-4 times while travelling overseas. we thought it's our in-laws calling us. we were so worry.

Neither the robo caller nor the slimy guy who owns it care if your are on the do not call list. For that matter, the FCC and the FTC don't care either. Go to Walmart and buy a loud air horn from the boating department. Set it beside your telephone and just wait. After a while you will start looking forward to their calls. I horned Rachael one day and when I put the phone to my ear she asked me if I felt better: she was obviously pretty mad. I replied "not yet" and I horned her again then hung up. I have this mental picture of Rachael sitting in the local emergency room with a tampon in her ear waiting for the triage nurse to work her in. Happy hunting.

Getting calls from this number regularly. Very annoying. Blocking it does no good.

Wants to lower my interest rate on my credit card. Say's its the final time they will call, NOT!!! So I dial one and when someone finally picks up to ask me if I am calling about lowering my interest rate, I told them they are calling a cell phone number and to please remove my number. THEY HUNG UP ON ME!!! I get calls from this recording from all different caller ID's.

I got a call as well. I would love to report these guys.

called it back...get msg "press 1 to win 50 grand"...hahaha....yeah..uh huh...my call is very important to them...please continue to hold...I DON'T press 1 & I get....*DIAL TONE*

It's clearly a scam but I don't think they are trying to use your number to call people with. I doubt they are paying long distance rates for their robo caller. Free long distance has been part of most people's phone service for a long time.
