Said from "Windows" Ha-Ha! -- Have our line filtered to only receive identified numbers -- obviously, these jerks use the same number with the bad, "not valid" area code.. I can't even call them back!I guess I'll just unplug the phone.

Didn't recognize phone number so I didn't answer. Then I looked up location of area code 482 only to find out it's yet another telemarketing scam. I'm on the DNC also.Makes you wonder what good it is.

'Called at 6:21AM local time. Said he was Jack Williams. Foreign accent. I not too politely told him what I thought of the call that got me out of bed.

Got a call from 1-482-458-9112 today. It was a foreigner in a call center who said he was from Windows (not Microsoft which he said was the hardware side of the house). He said my PC was infected and beaconing out to hackers. He wanted me run some tests, go to Internet Explorer to a website (www.supremofree.com) and run a program so he could remote into my PC and fix what was wrong. When he insisted he was legit, I challenged him to provide my name and address, which he could not. I hung up and immediately called Microsoft who said it was a scam. Duh!

Continues to call frequently

Just got a call from 482.458.9112, introduced himself as IT department from Microsoft, found our computer got virus from the Microsoft Windows OS network(?), and instructed how to resolve right away. When I asked the callback info, he said his name is Elem Diado, and the callback number is 559.717.8924, closed at 4PM Pacific time.

Called and said they are with IT from Windows. I didn't listen to anything else. Just hung up. But they called at 9:36 am, 9:42 am, and again at 11:43 am.

I got 2 calls from this number, the last call he left a message. He has a middle Eastern accent, says he wants to f**** me, my sister, my mother and touch my boobs.

Received calls from here 3 times in an hour. Answered 2 of them and line goes dead and maybe heard someone shuffling in background on one call. My new number belonged to someone who apparently was on all these lists so practially the only people that call on the new line are these scammers or bill collectors.

Foreign sounding person (Indian?) wanting to offer pharmaceuticals. I hung up on them.
