I did not pick up the call and was left a voice mail about an offender's parole date being set soon. The 502 area code is for KY. The automated message told me to call a number that ended up being the KY Dept of Corrections. If you are receiving these calls in error, call 1-877-OVS-6818 during regular office hours. A woman picked up the phone immediately and I told her I was receiving messages in error. She asked for my phone number, I heard typing in the background and she said she had cleared my number from their systems.A victim of crime can register their phone number to receive updates about a specific offender. Either the victim entered in their number wrong when signing up for the service, or your phone number has been assigned to you in the past few years. Just cll the number to fix it. It's not a big deal.

My son started receiving calls from this # on his cell phone yesterday. I called 1-866-277-7477, spoke with a representative of VINE who was very pleasant and immediately removed the number from their contact list after verifying that no persons connected to the phone number were a victim of a crime. I for one am very thankful that there are services such as this available to victims, but truly hope that I am never in need of the service in the future.

Please stop calling me. I forgot my 4 digit pin. And can't confirm. But that doesn't mean keep calling

I have been receiving calls every two hours from this number Since 4pm yesterday. As I type this, it is 4:16am as I answered the phone at 4am from this ridiculous service that I never requested. Looking online, one can sue a telephone service for harassment, especially since they called at 3:57am in the morning.

after some rsearch it was the Essex County Jail and the number is 973- 621-4687-------- call them as many times as you get called
