I get calls daily from this number that just hang up after 1-2 rings...

They called me, using my husband's name, and said he called requesting information about our electrical utility company. They didn't pronounce the name of the utility properly. The whole thing was fishy or phishy as the case may be. Why would a company in Oregon be calling about a Long Island utility issue. Phish.

Looks as if I'm lucky compared to the others who posted on this number. Got one call two days ago, put the number on my reject call list, and haven't heard from them since. Voicemail picked up the call, but they left no message.

All week, I have been receiving calls from this firm. I just hang up, and they call every night, sometimes twice. Last night, they called at 9 pm! I work early shift at a hosp and I was sound asleep. The call woke me and I couldn't get back to sleep. Yes, I am on the do-not-call list, whatever that means!

No one sold your number. Your phone is being robo-dialed by a computer.

Dude called me last night - said something nasty on our machine then said "Oh I guess I shouldn't say that. So this morning I finally pick up and ask why the hell he's calling me on a Sunday. He says "We don't all have the privilege of having off on Sundays." W/e - I took the stupid survey so they'd quit calling. Thanks for finding the site - I went right over and took my name off the list. Darn pp&l selling my phone number! UHG

Also just ask them to please hold for a minute and lay the phone down...just leave it lay there. Place a radio near the phone and turn on some YoKo ONO screeching for them to listen to. Tell them you do not vote. Do NOT hang up....just do not talk to them.
