Two freaking years. Thats how long i have been receiving faxes from this number on my Cingular cellphone. It serves no purpose. Would someone actually hook up a fax machine and record what is being sent?

I am getting these calls on a regular basis - heaven help the person if I ever find out where they live

I have been receiving phone calls from these people for over 6 months. I get them all hours of the day and night and every time it is just a "Beep Beep" and they even leave it on my answering machine. The phone companies will not trace the call back and they will not do anything about these calls. If I ever find out who is doing this, I am pressing charges against them that fall under the Telephone Act.

I was able to find out who the phone company is that carries this phone number. It is Bell Canada out of Montreal. You can do a Provider look up and contact the company and complain about this number. And the 0001 number. If enough of us complain, they will eventually have to find out who the user is and disconnect them or fine them heavily. You can actually file suit against Bell Canada since they are the provider and allowing the calls to do this continuously. Someone sent the call to their fax line and this is what showed up:Opt out of future notices phone #1-866-288-3608

This number has been trying to send a fax to my cell for over a week. This happens at all hours of the night and day.

Received 2 fax phone calls today, while trying to rest because I work nite shift..

This is the most annoying thing I have ever had to deal with! This number and the same number ending with a 1, phone randomly at 5 minute intervals and just beep and waste my time, I tried emailing and also the number removal system but this is harrassment! Its been going on for over a year!

Tried this. AT&T sucks. They will not block fax numbers. They told me to file a complaint with the national do-not-call list. You mean to tell me the phone company has no control over who calls me? I don't believe that.
