A male with a light foreign accent (South Asian?) called me from this number. My phone's Caller ID info indicated it was a cellphone number. I recognized the area code as being from the Nassau County part of Long Island, NY (assuming that the caller ID info wasn't being spoofed). The man indicated he represented Microsoft, and was calling about my home computer. I hung up.”
yeah, I did the same thing, but when I asked him how much it would cost, he replied that it was free. Called him a not so nice name and hung up, blocked his number. This is the same guy with the same speil who called me with a different number.
Whenever I pick a phone and hear Mumbling of Scammers with the Indian Accent, I can not help, but wonder, how my tax money was wasted on that country!! USA gave India 60 BILLIONS USD ( thats our TAX MONEY) to develop technology and infrastructure. And, now we all have to suffer daily from constant daily phone calls. Surely, our tax money could have been spend BETTER HERE!!! Vote for TRUMP!!!!
I just go a call from the number by a man who's first language was not English. He said that he was a "Microsoft Partner" and there was a problem with my computer. I told him that he was lying because there is nothing wrong with my computer and he said "Oh yes there is" and I hung-up on him.
my scammer calls day and night, this afternoon he even wanted to give me his microsoft service number and have me to check it on their website, than he accused me of being my husbands ex wife and at the end wanted her phone number. If I had it, I would give it to him so he can annoy her, but no luck. Talked to him the night before and told him that I don't use microsoft computer, but he won't give up. Expecting call from him tomorrow...
