Have gotten a call from them a while ago and they too identified themselves as calling on behalf of Microsoft, and I just yelled "do you think I'm stupid?" They hung up. Just got a call from them minutes ago. I said, "you've got to be kidding. Do I look stupid? What country are you calling from?" They hung up. I called the number back and got a recording that "the number you dialed is temporarily not in service." If they call again think I'll string them along.
Identity theft people, trying to get users to download apps/allow remote computer access
Calls a couple of timesa day, in close succession. Never leaves message. It's a +1 number, so spoofing a legit number, most likely, from Long Island.

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
