about people receiving unwanted calls - when they are on the DNC registry. What part of that don't you understand? Your choice!

Received a call from FMR Associates this morning. When I answered the call, no one spoke and all I heard was static. Thank you to the people who have posted FMR's website and their callback number to be removed from their calling list!

And you Keep answering when they call, WHY?? It's YOUR phone, those are YOUR minutes, bought with YOUR money$$, and You LET them waste your minutes, WHY?? YOU don't HAVE to answer when they call. If they are calling your cell phone, just program their phone # (and anyone elses # you don't want to waste your minutes) to your phonebook with a "silent ring tone & vibrate off". You'll never know they called until you get a missed call notice on your phone, which you can just delete at Your convinence. The rest of your 'wanted' calls can still come in without any problem. I just put an * in front of their names to keep them grouped together and at the end of the list. Works for me.

Called, id showed as "FMR" left no message.We really need a DNC 2 list, where we save all these "charities," "surveys," "politicians," etc BS callers some time and money by NOT BOTHERING TO CALL US!

wow... can anything be done about these people? I have been getting calls from them over the pass few weeks but for some reason i always miss it, so all i get is a miss call on my call log... i'm so glad i decided to look it up and found this page! i know now not to answer it even if i do hear it. what do they want from us though? and why so persistent? don't they usually move on to the next number if they can't get through to us?

Call came in at 6:12 PM. Phone number showed up on caller ID, but no name. Call went to voice mail, but no message was left.
