Got a call from this number today and it was a scam. They can actually go in and change their number so it shows up as a UPS number. That is why half the people are saying it is legit. Because the scammers are using a legit UPS number.

UPS calling to follow up on a package that went missing from Zappos.

Called the real UPS number and asked to speak directly with a Supervisor. She said that number is part of UPS and she gave the guy my # in the Claims Dept. Then she said we have no info or address associated with your number. SO CLEARLY SOME LOW LIFE LOSER who DOES work with UPS or was FIRED from UPS or who the hell knows who these losers are, they ARE TRYING TO GET YOU TO BE DUMB ENOUGH TO GIVE THEM YOUR INFO AND ADDRESS SO THAT THEY CAN ORDER CRAP TO YOUR ADDRESS ILLEGALLY OR MAYBE THEYRE STALKERS. JUST DONT EVER GIVE PEOPLE YOUR PRIVATE INFO NO MATTER WHO THEY PRETEND TO BE!They ALSO Sent an email saying " REfused Delivery". How they got my PRIVATE # who knows? USE COMMON SENSE FRIENDS, if UPS tried to leave a package and you werent home THEY WILL LEAVE A PINK SLIP STATING AS SUCH! THEY WOULD ALSO HAVE YOUR # IN CONJUNCTION WITH YOUR ADDRESS! NOT UPS and theyre using 2 other numbers they SPOOF to call me and my room mates with.

I forgot to mention NO ONE in the house had placed ANY orders for anything coming via UPS.

You paranoid types are so freakin' hilarious. There's no scam here, and nobody's trying to steal your information. It's frickin' UPS, and this is the number when they call to follow up on lost packages, etc.My Amazon order said "delivered" but it wasn't. I filed a claim, and this was how they contacted me.There are plenty of other things to be scared about, and freak out about. UPS calling to help track a lost package shouldn't be one of them!

called ups customer service today and she confirmed these numbers were not in her directory. email fraud@ups.com to report these incidences to protect unsuspecting victims of this scam

My Caller ID shows: UTD PARCEL SVC called on 4-14 & 4-15 always early afternoon hours, first time left a message I needed to contact them because of a package they are holding for us, I need to have our address and social security numbers along with our bank account numbers, IT IS A SCAM! Everyone out there, DO NOT answer this call. They state they are UPS! It is a Scam trying to rake in money of people that fall into there Scam! I blocked there number because my phone company gives me that capibilities, and today I received a e-mail over the internet stating the same thing I just stated, in fact there e-mail states the package is from Nigeria! It Is A Scam!

Received 2 calls to my cell phone today 5-8-09 (back-to-back). I didn't answer either one and there was no message left from either call. The caller ID said 520-806-6666. After reading the other posts about this number, I'm glad I didn't answer either call
