Got a text message asking about my vehicle for sale, was given an email to contact (lisabeach001@gmail.com) I emailed it and got a response that her son had picked my vehicle as a birthday present but lives in Malaysia. And she is at sea working as an oceanographer on the St-Lawrence river in Quebec. She wanted more pictures and info and said i was not to worry about shipping as she had been in contact with a shipping company that would handle the pick up and all the paper work.. Sure sounds fishy to me!!

I got a similar text ; " I want to know if your van is still up for sale. Kindly get back to me on this e-mail ; lisabeach@gmail.com" I didn't e-mail of course. Why would they ask for e-mail when they just sent a text instant red flag.

My sister got a text and emails from this Lisa Beach about a vehicle she was selling on Trademe, same story about birthday gift for son living in Malaysia/works as a oceanographer/works east of new zealand/organise with shipping company $900 - and then some emails from paypal came thru saying "pay now, pay now or we take legal action" then a week later, a Michelle Scott emailed about the vehicle my sis was selling and the same story again. TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!
