Why would you post your number here?
Just so evryone knows this 541-864-1492 is tele-market seeking donations for Public broadcast television ie: WHRO-in Virginia.
This number calls frequently but no one ever answers when I pick up and say hello.
You should never do that.Trying to take your number off the list will just confirm that it is a valid number and they will send it to 10 other like minded annoying telemarketers.
last night at 7:01pmTonight at 7:50pm.ANNOYING!!!
Received a lot of calls from this number, which I didn't answer. Then, they finally did leave a message. It was notifying me that my subscription to a science journal was expiring. Seemed legit, as I had let my subscription lapse. Another entry on this web site said the callers are a not-for-profit organization that calls for other non-profit organization. That seems consistent with the message I got.
If you want more unknown calls, sign up for the DO NOT CALL LIST. Guaranteed to get you more unwanted calls!
I have been receiving calls from them too, did not answer for a couple days, no messages left. Just answered a call and it is a company doing cold calls for the local public radio station looking for me to renew my membership.
they called my manhattan office today looking for "Kyle" - they've called several times in the past few weeks, but i had the foresight to check this and other sites before picking up, so i was ready for their B.S., the guy said he was calling regarding MOMA membership which had lapsed. i told him he was full of sh*t and never to call again. he LAUGHED! i hung up.
I actually answered this time after I logged my numer on the "Do not Call LIst" Iinformed the gentleman who takes quite a bit of time to speak up and actually make it know he is on the line that i am on the do not call list and to please stop calling. He said he was from the Appalacian mountain club seeking membership. I requested they stop calling. If i wanted to join i'd certainly call.He was nice enough. Said they wouldnt call again.. We'll see.
