after six calls from this number I answered and heard two words before the line went dead. I will not answer any more unknow calls
I am not affiliated with ANY non-profit so it is not because of some affiliation that they are calling. Probably just cold call people.
If you guys would actually read through some of the pages, you would see who's calling you and why. I got the same annoying calls (4 times in 2 days) and googled it and found this board. Read through a couple pages of posts instead of just complaining to find out the solution to your problem. It IS a legit company calling on behalf of non-profits trying to get you to renew your membership. So when they say they are calling on behalf of MOMA or LA zoo, etc. guess what??? they really are. I don't agree with the fact that non-profits are exempt from the calling list (especially people calling on behalf) but all you have to do is go to their site and remove yourself from their database.
I just went to ComNet's web page and asked my phone number to be removed. I also left this message. I hope it helps. I see from the forum that this number has been making useless calls for about 5 years!"These calls are frequent, annoying, and useless. There is something wrong with your phone system. No one ever says anything, whether I say "Hello" or not. Comnet Marketing is annoying and inconveniencing people while doing no good whatsoever for clients. I'm surprised you have any clients — you probably won't when they find your phone calls don't even make a successful connection."
Got a call today from that number. I had a Detroit Science Centre membership that lapsed and just got a Detroit Zoo membership. Oh well, I accidently picked it up and hung up.
They keep calling my work number - I've been ingnoring it as I didn't recognize the number and I hoped they would leave a message. One day they called three times within 20 minutes!

This phone called yesterday at 11:34.
It started out saying it was a survey. I didn't' listen beyond that, other than to hit 9 to be removed from their call list, then I blocked thr number on my phone.

I received a call from this number several times. An automated message was left, claiming that it was the Augusta Health Business Office.

Got the same thing DM1 reported. So, I just blocked the number and reported it to my phone carrier.
