getting calls from this number daily, at least. just wondered who it is - not curious enough to answer it.
I'm getting several calls per day from this telephone number. If I answer the call no one responds. If my answering machine picks up the call no message is ever left. This is very annoying.
I became a fan of a non-profit yesterday on Facebook. Tada...I got a phone call today from this number. That's what I get for publishing my phone number on my Facebook profile...AND for becoming a fan of a non-profit. I'm pretty sure it's the ASPCA. I will block the number.
Midday call said they were updating records for Chemical and Engineering News and only asked for work classification (e.g., academic, industrial, consultant, etc.). Didn't ask for any other information. Didn't really need to be bothered since this profile is managed online with the national organization, so kind of stupid.

Legit. Called to inform me the fire alarm went off at a family member's home.
