I saved the number under 'bad' on my phone. That way, when they call, it will read 'bad' is calling, and I don't answer. I never had a student loan in my life, nor did I ever co-sign for one. These are scammers.

received a letter from a company called DCS stating that I owe a student loan in the amount that I feel wasnt right. I called and left messages for them to return my phone call and never return not a phone call. They took my taxes back in 2008, and its like that didnt adjust to the amount owed. I never saw a verification to where the amount received in 2008 taken away from the balance owed after they took it. So therefore, I didnt have any contact with anyone since I received a letter stating that they took my taxes back in 2008 up until now as of January 2011. I received a letter saying to contact the company to take care of this debt, but no one has returned my phone calls. I remember back in 2008, I got a phone call from DCS at work and the lady told me she needed my bank account information so she can draft a certain amount out of my account, and I didnt go for that cause she wouldnt give me an address to send the money. I thought it was a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recieved a similar call and the lady or monster I should say was very unprofessional, rude, and Refused to let me speak to her supervisor she said do you want my supervisor to tell you the same things. anyways did you catch her name the person who called u?

Forgive your neighbors if "you expect GOD to forgive you"...time on earth is short, but Heaven or Hell lasts forever. Taking unsavvy methods to collect is a bottom feeder existence. Attempting to force people in economic tough circumstances to decide between food and rent or paying a debt isn't a choice, the debt will wait.

I received a call from this number to verify information about a family member, but they didn't want to confirm anything. They wanted me to give them the family member's telephone number (home / cell). To me, that's not a confirmation. They are seeking information from you. When asked what type of company it is. Their response was "I'm not at liberty to say." So people be aware. A confirmation is "you tell me" I'll confirm or not. But, it they can't tell you, they are just seeking information. Don't fall prey to this. You are not 411.
