nuisance phone calls

They called a friend of mine because I had her as a reference. Would say who they were with or why they were looking for me. Then proceeded to ask my friend for my husband's phone number and if we were still married! What does that have to do with anything??!!

This number calls me 5-6 times every day. When I attempted to call this number from a landline, the call couldn't even connect. This number is some kind of front number to disguise who is calling.

I just received a call at my place of employment from this debt collector at 541-955-7800. She asked for information on how to contact my daughter. I don't think it should be legal for them to contact me at work when this has nothing to do with me. I would love to press charges against this company. This really can't be legal.

Get a clue. The DNC list DOES NOT APPLY to these type calls. It never has and it never will. How you arrived at that conclusion is a complete mystery to me. And posting on here that you do not want them calling you again is completely stupid. They DO NOT read these posts. So how are they going to see what you wrote? And who are you going to report them to if they do call you again? Geeze, I hope it's NOT to the DNC list because then you'd just look like another clueless idiot.

Really...what does liberal have to do with it? I collect on these loans and believe me , plenty of the fiscally conservative republicans are in default and many refuse to pay. Statements like that scream ignorance

Make fun of them next time they call you. It's funny how they get mad. Just adjust your taxes so you don't contribute more to taxes, and all they can do is garnish your wages, but fill out the form saying where your money goes a month then they leave you alone. I've made a collections lady from there so mad she transferred me to another company now DCS is calling me now after charging me 1/4 of the amount of the loan was interest.
