wtf?! i'm in milwaukee, but was in chicago when the call came in after 9pm. and i just got my number changed because i was getting collection calls for someone else.

yup... I got this call on my cell phone on 5:06 pm on March 27th, 2008, and I'm in the Raleigh area, except for me, it was some lady speaking in Spanish; it was similar to a call I received from 755-205-9988

Got a call on my cell from this number last night...I live in Louisiana.

Rec'd 2 calls from this number- answered the first call on 3/26 around 6:48pm- did not answer the second call on 3/27 around 1:59pm...same deal spanish speaking lady...i am from california, looks like this is a nationwide deal. Does anyone have concrete facts on what this means and/or what action we should take to protect our numbers?

Had a message on my work phone from this number. It was left there at 7.38pm, Pacific Time. No message was left. I'm in Oregon.

I got a call from this number and i answered it and no one said anythingI tried to call it back and nothing. the phone didn"t ring on the other end. Im wondering how he got my numerber. I live in oregon but not penelton and thats where the phone numer came from.

I got the call and I immediately called At&T, my cell provider and they told me not to answer the calls if they call back and do NOT call the number back. The representative told me that the more people that call their cell phone providers and reports this number, the greater the chance of the companies finding out who is doing it and making sure that it doesn't happen anymore.

same here, milwaukee. mine came in as an internatonal call. 54 is the country code for argentina, so maybe that has some relevance to the Spanish-speaking calls?
