Got one of these today too. I didn't see this in anyone else's post, but I'd add that we had admin changes on our lines today. Specifically, we changed teh nubmer on a new iphone; added an additional standard phone with a new number. So we were in an AT&T corporate store today making changes.The line called is the admin line for the account but was not one of the accounts changed today.The caller ID we got was for teh number above but with a plus at the front and then the number blocks in a non-typical configuration.It appeared as: +5419 6998 76Otherwise seemed same as above. A recording in Spanish and a live opertor picked up. Just said 'no habla espanol' and hung up on them.
I got a call from this phone number today, but it showed up on my cell phone as +5419699876 -- the + means international and 54 is the country code for Argentina.Needless to say I didn't answer it... hmmm...
im in seattle and just received the call 5 minutes ago.... didn't answer it adjust googleing the number and ended up here? weird....
Both me AND my friend got phone calls from this same number, and we happened to be hanging out with eachother at the time. It was at 8:53 tonight, we're from the Milwaukee area too...this is really strange...
received call at about 1930 on 3/27/2008. I'm in Oregon, but when I called back a message said can't complete the international call as dialed. I then looked closer and realized the number stored had a + prefix and was stored as +5419699876.
I also just wanted to know where the area code was from and found this forum. I live in Milwaukee and got the call at 8:48 PM, I thought it might have been my friend who's in the marines in Iraq (and he had called me about a week ago) or my buddy who just moved to Japan. Missed the call and when I tried to call back I got a "To set up International Calling Press 1" response. Everyone else here have AT&T as their phone provider?

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
