Three calls thus far. On July 1, 2008, at 8:45p.m., 8:15p.m., & 7:29p.m.. Caller name is "Not Provided" and the phone number is 555-123-4567. I have not answered the calls and whoever it is does not leave a message.

I received the strange call, too. It was on 10/11/10 between 7:40 and 8:00p.m. I answered the first time and there was no response. The second time I did not answer.

I live in So. Calif. & just got a call from this #. It was some guy who spoke good english & knewmy name & said he was calling for a Survey. I said do you know it's 10 PM here & he apoligized & said it was 1 AM there. SO WHY WAS HE CALLING the lower 48 ?? Told him to remove my name. What A Jerk !

I received the same call 2x.

An effective method is to pick up the phone and either place it in front of a television or stereo speaker and let them enjoy whatever it is you are watching or listening to at the time until they hang up........works like a charm....they tend to never call back...

This number called around 4pm eastern today. Obviously it's a fake, but some older woman left a message asking "Is <> there?" (<> being my wife's name). This person clearly didnt catch that the answering machine is what answered the phone.

We receive a call every few days from 555-123-4567, we answer and nothing! Stop this please.

We've received two calls from 555-123-4567 tonight (12 Oct 10). I answered the first call and no one responded.

received 3 calls within 10 minutes from 555-123-4567 and on the third time I answered and the idiotic non English speaking lady said she had a 30-sec opinion poll for my area. I declined and she screamed at me telling me it was of high importance to take this call.....I hung up on her.
