just received a call from 561-482-7092 on my cell phone. no message & i didn't answer it.

I received a telemarketing call offering to sell me an extended warranty for my automobile. My Caller ID displayed an obviously spoofed telephone number.The displayed number was: 0622666823
Received a recorded message that I call back as they could lower my interest rate on my credit card. Funny... guess what? My ex ruined me financially and my house was foreclosed upon, hence, I DO NOT HAVE AND CANNOT GET ANY CREDIT CARDS!!
I have been contacted by these scamers several times in the past month...what i dont understand is how they got my number when i'm on the national do not call list?? anyway...when they ask for your information wheather it be an account number or the make,model,and year of your car dont give them this information...and hang up.
Just wondering,Maybe there's something we all have in common. Perhaps we've registered at a website or magazine or something that requires our phone number. Maybe if we figure this out we can discontinue our patronage to whatever it is that's selling our numbers to this scam.
"Heather" wanted to lock in my credit card interest rate. I hung up. Then went to the do not call site and filed a compalint. In fact I think "Heather" was a tape cause "it" kept on talking when I tried to interrupt.
I have just started using Direct TV, anyone else in this situation? It would be nice to find a common thread and get this stopped.
I'm fighting with them since Sept 08, they are a scam, they cliam they spoke with my mother regarding her credit card interest rate which in fact they spoke with my brother who wasn't an authorized user on the account, when I asked to here the recording they played my brother speaking to an operater, but not once they asked to speak with my mother or father. The operater never disclosed the amount they were going to charge either> I've been working with WAMU to reverse this charge. IF ANY OF THESE COMPANIES CALL PASS THIS INFO ON THEY ARE SCAM ARTIST

I received a package from a rigging company in New York with my name and address but this phone number as my contact number.
Looking for a person (that was not me) about a legal matter.

Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
Phone number calls multiple times a day, once someone from my office picks up, it is dead silence on the other line. When you try to call back, it is a number that is not in service.

Shoplc. I don’t mind them calling if I have a problem but they called me 3 times in past 3 days to fill out survey they emailed. If I wanted to fill it out, I would have, I don’t need calls, plus I did fill one out but am still getting calls.
