Earth to everyone else commenting. This isn't Office Depot. It's someone claiming to be that. They're simply out to get your billing info.
I didn't order anything from Office Depot, but got a call from this number, and a woman with a heavy accent left a voice mail. I have voice mail to text, so here's the message:Hi this is Jessica calling from Office Depot and this message is for (-deleted) and I'm calling you regarding the order number (-deleted) and I'm sorry to inform you this order did not go through because the bank did not approve the billing address of your credit card. Please call us back with your correct billing address information so that we can get this order processed for you. Our call back number is 866-345-3139 and the extension is 1....Someone has my credit card number, whether it's the people who called (trying to get my address, too) or someone else and Office Depot was calling to help process an order they didn't realize was fraudulent, it doesn't matter -- it's too risky to call them back.
I agree with you completely, but I wonder if this is someone who has hacked into office depot ordering system or my email. I'm guessing e-mail. Thoughts?
Received a call from 561-997-5181 from 'Kathy' from Office Depot saying there is a 'difference to the order for purity transactions' on my credit card and wanted me to call back. The caller sounded like she was reading a script. She wanted me to call 866-345-3139 and choose option 1. I have not placed an order with Office Depot so I believe this is a scam.
I just received a call stating that my order didn't go through because the bank didn't approve the credit card transaction. I never placed an order. When I do place an order with Office Depot, I use PayPal, not a credit card. She is good. She has my first name(no last name), an order number and a call back number. Not the number that called my cell!
These calls from Office Depot are very annoying. Just now they called and said they needed to UPDATE MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. They used to call after every order I placed to see if we would like to order more. If I had wanted to order more, I would have ordered more, duhh. Now they continue to call and bug our staff once a week or so, even though we have stopped placing orders with them altogether.

Yup, it's Office Depot. Just confirmed with our operations center that this is the number that shows up when we call you. If you want to opt out - send an email to optout@officedepot.com with your cust # and what number we called.

I called Frontiers official phone number 1-800-921-8105, the agent I spoke to gave me this scammer number, they pretend to be frontier and offer a rebate and ask you to provide your bank account info to “send” the rebate. I hung up
