It's Office Depot. Ordered some Christmas Cards from then and they called to verify some info.

Its a scam!!! I don't really care what previous comments made about this number and Office Depot. Because I've answered more than once and get a hang up!!!! And for the number not being able to call back .... thats a buch of bull... at least they can indicate its an Office Depot representative contact, then you would know its legite!

Received a call from this number and the "lady" claimed to be from Office Depot and wanted the security code from my credit card because she said it had been entered incorrectly when the order was placed. (No, I didn't give her the number). Oddly enough when I tried to call back that number, I got a recording that said the number was no longer in service.

I was just called and it was a foreigner, hard to interpret the accent, Asian, but very thick. I thought it was Home Depot at first, then came here and realized she was saying Office not Home. Check my online records and sure enough my order did not go through because of a security code mistake. I called them back and resolved the problem with another heavy accent person. Glad they called to get my order correct. Sorry to hear the outsourced voices, had to ask her to repeat herself three times. Hoping no new unwanted calls result from this

BTW: the order number was correct and repeated to me, the security code was in a different location on this reward card I was using so it was my mistake. The reward card site had not records the purchase price so I knew it hadn't gone through correctly, and the second lady repeated all the correct info about my order. After I corrected the order the reward site had the price correctly deducted from my card. So everything was legit.

If you recieve calls from this number it is either because you signed up for an account with Office Depot or you work for a company that has an account with Office Depot. the only way they can get your number is if you or someone you work for volunteers it. it is not telemarketing or solicitation, but quite simply account maintenance. the reason you cannot call the number back is because Office depot uses a voice over IP system. they call from everywhere in the world using the same number. If you are getting calls, your best bet is to pick up and ask whatever questions you may have of the account manager on the other side. they are there to help you, but the actual bottom line is they get paid very well whether you hang up on them or not!

We get dozens if not hundreds of calls from this number per day...and we are sick of it. We will be terminating all business with Office Depot.

Yes! It is a SCAM! They know just about enough to use your CC. They are checking to see what info I would give them. NOTHING! They gave me a call back number of 866-345-3139. When you call it sure sounds like Office Depot but you could tell - they knew NOTHING. Called local Office Depot and this is NOT an Office Depot authorized number. Don't give them any of your information!
