In response to proudgrandmotherof2 , I would like to hear from your inquire into this matter. Why can our agencies not put a stop to such missuse of the phone system. Is there no agency respponsible for prosecuteing such vial practices?

Do not take these calls. Let them go to voicemail then delete them. It will at least slow them down. Do not press any buttons. They use calling cards which cannot be traced, so reporting a number is useless. Talking to them is a mistake. I have been getting these calls for 5 years, several a day. Since I took the FCC's advice and let them all go to voicemail, they have slowed down considerably.The problem is too many idiotic people have been scammed and continue being scammed by them. So they are making money off them.

Caller ID actually said, "phone scam."Message wanted me to press "9" to speak to an operator to lower my credit card rates, even though they indicated no problem with my current cards.

Called tonight at 8:34PM. It is ILLEGAL for telemarketers to call between 9PM and 8AM. Not that these SCUMBAGS care; they are illegal SCAMMERS, anyway.My new tactic is to pick up and hang up immediately without saying anything, so as to 'confuse' the computer/robodialer. This is better than letting it go to answering machine; the computer will not know if its been blocked, reached a non-working number or what. It seems to cut down a bit on these calls, although i still get at least one most every day, including some Sundays.Have filed HUNDREDS of complaints with the DoNotCallList, but so far, no action as far as I can tell.My caller id also said "CALLER". Can you believe the audacity of these [***] DUCHEBAGS?Time to NUKE India and Pakistan! I'll bet THAT'll stop the calls!

Called just now. Left no message. Caller ID say Phone Scam.

I didn't answer this call but it shows up on my caller id as phone scam being the caller.

These people are driving me crazy. They call AT LEAST ever other day., Iv called the police the phone co and my credit card companies. They say this is a scam . Im all the no call sites but it hasnt helped. These people are [***] [***]

Got a call from this number a few minutes ago. On the caller ID it actually said "Phone Scam". I didn't answer.

This so called person called us and it appeared as "Phone Scam" and now our phone is NOT working. How do we get it to wwork?
