Great video on u tube. It actually sounded like the person who was trying to scam me. this is actually how it happened. All the same techniques to give up your information.

The only people that are allowed to call even if you are on the No-Call List are non-profits and political-NOT something like these a**holes

The call I received today sounds like it could have be the lines from a SNL skit with John Belushi's "No Coke, Pepsi" lines. Both my telephone and fax lines were ringing simultaneously and I can imagine that was a result of automatic number-dialers. Alas, I could only answer one line.After the recorded message, i pressed 9 and stayed on the line and immediately told the person to put me on their do not call list when a live body answered."When?" he asked, in a stong asian accent."Now!" I said."I can't do it until 2012.""Why not?""I just can't.""Put me on the do not call list immediately.""Not until 2012,""No, NOW!"And then he went off on an animated tirade in a language that I could not understand.I told him to never call this number again and hung up. I'm so glad this was not face-to-face because I think this person had a samuri sword.

Got a call from this number. Didn't pick up. Reading everyone's posts I'm glad I didn't!

If you have AT&T apparently not

Got a call on my home phone at around 9:20am (a Sunday of all days)...the caller ID says "Attica"...maybe they are calling us behind bars :-(

I have received numerous calls from this number. The most recent was July 4, 2011 @6:03 PM. I was not here so didn't have to put up with the non response as in the past. Usually there is either no one on the line, so I hang up. Once I touched "0" and was connected with a person regarding lowering my interest rates. I asked that they remove my number from their list and hung op. they are irritating and It is my hope they can be shut down or at least curtailed.

This is a Credit Card Phishing scam

Have received at least 2 dozen calls from this "scam" number. I have done the "take me off your list", gone to the live person to ask them to remove me, etc. Nothing has worked, as I still get the calls. I will also report the number as per the other suggestions that I saw from others who have been getting these annoying calls.

Looks like they're now using a different phone number. We were getting calls from another number before I called the number back. I talked to the woman who had the phone and she had NO idea this was happening-you can't fake the surprise she had in her voice. With some cell phones you can add other phone numbers to them, effectively jacking someone's cell number and using it for this kind of s**t. We haven't gotten calls from that number since!
