got this phone call from this # three days in a row, calling different times of the day, what the hell, is anyone doing anything about this?
I am a regular person that works in the medical field. This truly IS the social security department. They called my cell phone today trying to reach the past owner. (I get a ton of his calls) Apparently this guy is filing a disability claim so the social security department needs some more information from him and they had some questions about the forms that this guy sent them. It's a legitimate phone call from legitimate people. I called it and spoke with a real human about real stuff. I think it's all good!09/02/2011 @1030 pst
They called and got answering machine. Caller ID said US Government, and this number. They left no message.
This number IS a legit number. I am trying to help my mom with her Medicare and they called me back just like they stated they would on the application......
I just called the my social security office and they informed me that this number wouldn't be a normal number they would call you from and to be aware not to give out any info to this number and you should call the 800-772-1213 number to see if they called you!!!! They didn't call me so I don't believe this number isn't legitimate at all. I don't care what anyone says here. I listen to who I know I am calling!!!
