I get hang up calls from this number. How do I block it?

Called at 7:09 PM tonight, while we were eating dinner. Saw that Caller ID said MARITZ RESEARCH so I just picked up/hung up by barely lifting the receiver to stop the ringing and hopefully 'confuse' their ROBODIALER. WE WILL NOT ANSWER ANY SURVEYS UNLESS WE ARE PAID AT LEAST $100 PER CALL to do so. SCREW THEM. ANYTHING ELSE is just ILLEGAL TELEMARKETING.

Called my mobile number while I was in the shower this morning, did not leave voicemail.

I just received, but did not answer, a call from 571-431-1960. The caller ID said Maritz Research.

They called once, left no msg.Ther called twice, left no msg.The third time they called was programmed to my call blocker. [No maas]Annoying calls  Fact 1 - The DNC list CLEARLY does not work, everyone should knows this by know!Fact 2 - Filing a complaint with the FCC does not work, a total waste of time; done that.Fact 3 - Having an unlisted phone will not help you.Fact 4 - Asking/begging telemarketers to take you off their call list does not work!Fact 5 - No "class action" suits are filed and certainly, this is not a remedy. Many of these telemarketers are in other countries and out of the jurisdiction of the USA.Fact 6 –Complaining to the BBB is a corrupt organization that sells their ratings to the highest bidder.QUIT BEING FRUSTRATED over Telemarketers-Scammers & Bill Collectors HOUNDING day after day! *********DON'T GET MAD – HIT BACK! **********STOP BEING ANNOYED - STOP BEING A VICTIM*************PURCHASE A CALL BLOCKING TELEPHONE!!!Uniden and Panasonic make CALL BLOCKING telephones. They’re cheap - $40-$60 and they usually come with a 2nd wireless handset, and they work beautifully! These phones also block “PRIVATE”, “OUT OF AREA” and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!

We do not answer calls we do not know.This number 571-431-1960 from Maritz research has been calling our phone number for about a month now.

I got a call from this number and didn't answer it because we only answer calls from people we know or if your name comes up on caller ID also we have an unlisted phone number so they should NOT be calling here.

Sorry, but my call today, (12-2-2010, 7 PM) was completely on the up and up.It was a survey about a call I had placed to my employee benefits organization help line 2 weeks ago.They just had questions about rating the service and satisfaction I experienced on the call.They knew who I was and had no suspicious questions like requests for credit card or Social Security numbers.It looks like they are a private company who provides s a lot of firms with this kind of service.

A way to get some satisfaction - call their regular switch board 636-827-4000 - ask for the accounts receivable department. You will get connected to a person - complain to THAT person. If enough of us call they have to deal with us instead of working on bringing money into Maritz. They take our time that we value - let's get together and take time they value.
