Bothered my husband as he was getting ready for work. Someone wanted to conduct a survey about Bank of America. He told them a few choice words about B of A, then hung up.

if you receive a call from this number (Maritz Research) you can call after hours to hear the message for how to remove your number from their call list (800-864-8601) which the message states can take about three days to be removed

Hi I am in Australia and received a call from this number lucky I was on another calland did not pick up. Thanks to all I have read I now know not to pick up. Thanks again.

Just got a call from 571-431-1960, caller Id said Maritz Research. They wanted me to do a survey on my Bank. They knew what bank I used and my name. I took the survey to see what this company was selling. They asked questions and I was very careful with the answers. They asked me nothing that would jepordize my ID information. Things like how would I rate the teller who I last worked with. How I rated the bank overall. They knew what branch I used, I didnot give them any personal information except my age between this and that. I cant see where these people are doing anything illegal. They seem to be doing marketing research on different banks. I guess the banks pays a fee for this service.

Maritz says they are a Consumer Research Company, they are nothing more than a go between telemarketing slime f*cks and the consumers. Oh, lets do a survey and circumvent the do not call list because we are "just" a survey company. They are no different that the worthless pieces of horse manure telemarketers themselves. Blow them up.

My daughter works at a bank locally and for a while she would call me on the phone she used to call customers. The caller Id said unknown name and the number was a different area code from ours. I asked her about that and she told me that the phone lines used for customer service calls were routed thru their main office some where else. So thats how they can say that they are calling from a certain city but the phone number check says they are in another state.

I did call the number to have my number removed from their intrusive behaviour. It was amazing that within a week I was getting random calls on my cell almost everyday from blocked or faked numbers. Blow them up.\

same as above on Bank of America. How do they know my name in the first place (associated with BOA)? The caller didn't know the branch I use often and got me suspcious. When I told him I don't want to give any information, he hung up! Gotta list them on to the block list.
