I think it's funny that this Martiz Research called me and everyone is mentioning Bank of America. I have never in my 41 years dealt with Bank of America. Do they deal w/ any other banks? Anywho.. I called the number someone else provided: 1-800-864-8601 and put my number on their Do Not Call List (not the national registry.. an INTERNAL one w/ the company). Said it can take up to 3 days. If not, I'll block them in my phone preferences. (I can't believe this number's posts is 23 pages long! lol)

Got this call 3 times in the last week, but I did not answer any of them. The caller ID says "MARITZ RESEARCH". Checked it out, and they are a survey company who has contracts with other companies to evaluate customer satisfaction with those other companies. So, they do surveys and report findings back to the company that contracted with them. I don't appreciate anyone trying to get my opinions like this, over the phone. They should simply send a letter, so I can decide whether or not to participate in the survey. However, at least they have their own Do Not Call list, so that you can have your number removed from their list. It's an automated thing, and the number is 1-800-864-8601. I called it, and had my number removed, and it said that it would take 3 days to become effective. We'll see, but most likely, they will just sell my phone number over to another telemarketer or similar business. I am afraid that in this day and age, there is really nothing we can do to stop it. The best thing is just never pick up the phone for numbers that you do not recognize.

They can legally call if you've dealt with the company or a subsidiary. The morons that wrote the law wrote it to enable these companies and the politicians themselves to harass you.

After doing enough research on these parasites who call people with spoofed caller ids, and blocked numbers, I realized that these worthless nutcases are scared to provide their personal phone numbers and addresses. If they get scared, sorry I cant help them with any research. But if they are willing to give me their personal phone numbers and addresses sure I'll be willing to do a research with them face to face.

We received a call from this number 571-431-1960 claiming to have information about a family member and having information. I filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry when I found out it was Meritz Research and asked them to stop calling

I just returned a call from this number, They gave me this 800 number to call to be put on there do not call list. 1-800-864-8601 Said it can take up to 3 days.
