I just received a call (that I missed) from 571-431-1960. Just as others have stated, it was from Maritz. I called the number back and got a recorded message that gave me a number to call to remove my phone from their list. That number is 800-861-8601. The recording says it will take up to 3 days to remove my number.

got a call from this number to my skype landline. i did not answer. they did not leave a message. i have since blocked the number

I notice that the Posts on this Page are from 2009. I got a call from them today 6/17/12. No Message. I cetainly would not call that 800 #, though. Who knows what kind of a Trap that is?

6-19-12 @8.19pm this # appeared on our caller ID - when we don't know the area code, etc.we let the answering machine take the call- these @#&&$%# idiots did not leave message.How do they get our # when we have not had any recent business transactions with any Co. orbusiness?

Wanted to ask about bank account Told them nobody by the name (they stated) was at this number & then wanted to talk to the person at the number that has an account with a certain bank that they named. Told them nobody has an account with that bank and hung up. Didn't sound like any research..

This is Maritz Research. On their recording, they state they are legally allowed to call you; however, you have rights too. To get them to REMOVE you from their list, which is your legal right, they have a number of 800-864-8601. Press "option" 5 lets them you have a digital phone and then leave your telephone number so that they will remove it. Their recording states it can take up to 3 days. Personally, I call companies back from my call blocked number with a different caller id and ask who they are. Then I ask for their manager, their company address, their listed telephone number which is required by IRS other wise it's NOT a legit company, and make sure they take me off the list PLUS I put both numbers in my caller id which has a "recorded" ringer of "silent" since my iPhone won't allow me to "callback" numbers. AT&T only allows for 10 numbers to be call blocked so I recorded my own "silent" ringer and it plays when ever i get a "skip" number.

Got several missed calls from this phone number and they didn't leave any messages. Pretty annoying...
