Yep. Same scum called me thrice in the last two days telling me that I owe $1000 to some casino. Today my wife got multiple calls from another guy (spoofing a legitimate IRS 800 number too) saying that she committed tax fraud and will be arrested, and she panicked. If anyone knows how to report or get these guys, please post.Thanks.
I called the number and it's a recording for Las Vegas Roulette, and something about winning $1,000. I've now blocked it from my phone.
Called me at 9am. But I slept through it so I don't know how many times it rang. Whoever these people are, they're obviously bothering a lot of people. I wish there was a a way to get the police involved and shut their operation down. My advice though would be, don't answer the call, don't call back and immediately block the number.
They called but I didn't answer in time so I called it back a few times thinking it was Mt friend Bill that just moved to MO. Not him.. They just hang up when you call back... Scammers no doubt..
